How Can the Lymphedema Clinic Help?

Lymphedema occurs when lymph fluid builds up in tissues within a part of your body, such as your arm, hand or leg, causing it to swell. It is a potential side effect caused by removing or damaging lymph nodes during cancer surgery.

A physiotherapist in our Lymphedema Clinic can assess you for lymphedema and if you have it, our clinic will explain how you can best manage it and show you how to ease the swelling.
