Welcome to Compassion

“You were so kind … You put up with my tears some mornings because I was nervous…You were really gentle with me and answered my questions. You just put me at ease.” – Sue, Cancer survivor and former Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake patient

At the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre (SRCC) at Southlake, we compassionately deliver excellent services and programs close to home for patients living in York Region, North York and South Simcoe County.

We understand receiving a cancer diagnosis can be a frightening and overwhelming experience for you as a patient, as well as for your family/friends. During this difficult time, we open our doors and arms to you and the family/friends who care for you. We aim to give you and your caregivers the most compassionate, safest and best care possible.

From the moment you enter our doors, our goal is to help you and your loved one through this most difficult time.

Care in a Home-like Setting

And we deliver this care in a home-like setting with natural light and comforting fireplaces. In between appointments, patients and their caregivers can also rest, reflect or rejuvenate in our healing garden. We want you feel comfortable, no matter how long you stay.

This video tells one patient’s story and his experience at the SRCC at Southlake.
