Registered dietitians have a degree in foods and nutrition from an accredited university program. They also complete comprehensive and rigorous training, on the job, as well as in university.
At the SRCC at Southlake, our registered dietitians provide advice on food and nutrition to help our patients manage their symptoms, make safe food choices and eat as balanced a diet as possible during their cancer experience.
To further help our patients find trustworthy information about food preparation and safety during their cancer experience, a couple of our registered dietitians developed a blog called The Inside Scoop.
